Homebrew developer Mediumgauge has released an update to PSP Filer, a powerful yet simplistic file management application designed for the PSP. By using PSP Filer, users can easily edit, copy, delete, and transfer files on the memory stick and flash memory. Version 5.9 now uses Sony’s built-in OSK for text input. As usual, the complete changelog can be found past the break.
general:
- increased much of original OSK feature.
- enabled to use built-in OSK (kernel3 version only).filer:
- fixed a bug in copy window if you created a new folder, you could not move cursor to the folder.
- changed a destination device to copy from ms0 to the device where source files belong.binary editor:
- fixed a bug that have shown wrong message on saving.text viewer:
- added a feature of line editor.
note: edited files will be forced to be shift-jis encoding when it is saved. And, non-shift-jis file and binary file may not be edited & saved correctly.
- able to read UTF-16 encoding.

I can't seem to get this to work. I put it in the GAME150 folder, tried it on 150 kernal and 5xx kernal... nothing, and in all the other GAME folders,
the problem might be that i'm using that Game Categories plugin bu BubbleTune, but im not sure
any ideas?

well, the gameboot plays, ms light flickers, and it returns to xmb with an error code, couldn't tell ya what it is cause my psp isn't next to me, and i think it is out of battery...
but, is that enough info?

Have you tried disabling the Game Cat. plugin?

Also disable any plugins you might have. PSPFiler is really finicky with them.
