Word comes today from a “prominent PS3 developer” that firmware 2.7 is now finalized and has been promptly sent off to partner development studios both within and outside Sony. News concerning the update first broke earlier this month and to quote a Psyonix Studios dev, was said to pack “lots of fun new fixes” and “lots of new stuff.” Specifics were not divulged, however.
No specific date has been set in stone for a public release, but it is expected this week. Keep your eyes peeled.
