Video Game Release Dates: Week of July 6th

"Thin" is probably the best word to describe this week's game releases, as we have officially entered the Summer Slump for new titles. The one shining gem this week will most likely be the release of Battlefield 1943 via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network. In a new publicity stunt, the game will launch with three maps available and a fourth map will be unlocked once their respective consoles reach 43 million kills. It'll be interesting to see which service hits that number first.

I'm confused, does this mean Battlefield 1943 won't be coming to the europe XBLA the same date as the US?

It will launch in North America, Europe, and Australia at the same time it hits the Marketplace and PSN. Sorry for the confusion, I will make an edit.
