Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson recently updated his blog with a list of the top 20 LIVE games for all of 2009 based on unique users and games purchased. The list spans not only full Xbox 360 games, but also arcade games, indie titles, and Games for Windows LIVE titles. Halo 3 remains king for Xbox 360 unique users and after only one month of being on store shelves, Modern Warfare 2 trumps Call of Duty: World at War. (Sorry Treyarch)

Im a little shocked that Call of Duty: WaW beat GOW2

Not that surprising honestly. Gears of War 2 community kind of died out due to it's extreme amount of glitches, really wasn't all that fun to play. Although WaW wasn't as popular as MW2, it did still see an extreme amount of playtime, especially with all the map packs and of course Nazi Zombies.

Not surprised Halo 3 is first.
2010 should be interesting. MW2 will overtake MW1 and possibly Halo 3. Then comes Halo Reach :D

I'd like to see how reach fair this year. A lot of people were disapointed from ODST.

Sony would need to post their data. If it's not on the PlayStation Blog, then I don't see anyway of us actually getting that information.
