DSi Exclusive Monster Finder Coming Stateside, Retailer Hints
by eXophase Mirror on Oct.20, 2009 at 7:28 pm, under Gaming, Nintendo DS

If a listing on the product pages of online retailer GameFly are any indication, it appears that Konami has picked up Alpha Unit’s Monster Finder for a stateside release. Slated for a debut in Japan next month, the Pokemon Snap and Invizimals crossover features a neat concept, enabling players to utilize the DSi cameras to take pictures of real-world objects with which the game transforms into virtual monsters.
GameFly is pegging on a January 2010 release date on what would be the first DSi-exclusive title to reach North American shores.

Retailers Hint at Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Delay
by eXophase Mirror on Oct.12, 2009 at 3:00 pm, under Gaming, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation Portable

It appears Konami’s survival horror title Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, a reboot of the first SH entry, will drop outside the Halloween release window.
Numerous retailers are now hinting at a holiday release, with GameStop pegging down a December 8 date. Online outlet GameFly is listing an even further out December 31 date for the PSP and PS2 versions. Oddly enough, according to their site, the Wii version is still on track for November 26. In all likelihood that’s probably an error. If history is any indication, we’d side with GameStop’s dates as they seem to be the most accurate. Take it as pure speculation for now though, as Konami has yet to officially confirm a delay.

Secret Agent Clank PS2 Port Inbound, Slated for May
by eXophase Mirror on Mar.13, 2009 at 10:23 pm, under Gaming

If a GameFly product page listing is any indication, it looks as if Sony is bringing over once-PSP exclusive Secret Agent Clank to the PS2.
Released back in 2008, the stealth-centric platformer stars robot sidekick Clank in a struggle to save the wrongly accused, which in this case is his friend Ratchet, who has been thrown in jail for a crime he did not commit. Clank suspects a crime lord known as Kingpin is behind the framing.
Online retailer GameFly has pegged a May release date on the port. Consider it a rumor for now, as Sony has yet to make an official announcement, but if true such news wouldn’t be met with surprise. Numerous AAA titles on the portable have made the jump to PS2 in the past, including the likes of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories.
