Despite being missing in action for awhile, homebrew developer Mediumgauge has returned, and he’s back with a bang: releasing an update to his popular file management application PSP Filer, now at version 6.2. This is a multi-purpose solution to your organizational needs on PSP, providing functionality that goes beyond that of the XMB, such as the ability to view text files and extract compressed file archives.
Labeled as a minor update, it fixes a bug that resulted in a crash when RAR format archives were opened for viewing from within the file browser. Download the updated release below.

Homebrew developer Mediumgauge has released an update to his feature-packed file management application PSP Filer, bringing it up to version 6.0. Numerous bug fixes are included in the latest build, in addition to support for displaying individual file sizes in gigabytes (GB).
* fixed a bug wrong free area was shown when using large (>4G) MS Duo.
* added a feature to show GB mode. And, even in larger scale mode, small files are shown on smaller scale.
* fixed a bug USB connection was failed on kernel3 using under FW 5.00.
* fixed a bug at ripping UMD, to be frozen, when MS Duo was full (that happened depending on CFW version).
* fixed a bug to be frozen when finishing built-inn OSK at 333MHz.

Homebrew developer Mediumgauge has released an update to PSP Filer, a powerful yet simplistic file management application designed for the PSP. By using PSP Filer, users can easily edit, copy, delete, and transfer files on the memory stick and flash memory. Version 5.9 now uses Sony’s built-in OSK for text input.
